Stewart brings extensive financial leadership and governance experience to the Squirrel board, having held senior executive roles across banking, government, and corporate finance in New Zealand.
As Chair of Squirrel’s Audit & Risk Committee, Stewart provides strong oversight and strategic financial expertise. His career includes CFO roles at ASB, Westpac and AMP, as well as former CFO of MBIE. He is currently Deputy Chief Executive – Corporate & Finance at ACC.
With deep experience across both the public and private sectors, Stewart is a valued independent board member who brings commercial insight, financial discipline, and a pragmatic approach to governance.
